Photos that Make your Dog look like a Supermodel

Welcome! I’m glad you’re here! I understand how much your pet means to you and I specialize in capturing their unique personality and beauty.

I believe that no dog is too difficult to photograph. Whether your furry friend is shy, hyperactive, or just plain stubborn, I have the patience and expertise to capture their unique personality and spirit in stunning detail.

For safety, I’m happy to work with dogs on a leash. I understand that some pups need that extra security, and their safety comes first. My goal is to make the photo shoot experience stress-free and enjoyable for both you and your pet. I will remove the leash in Photoshop so that all you see is your adorable companion!

My photography is not just about capturing a moment in time, it’s about creating a work of art that you’ll cherish for years to come. I take the time to get to know your pet and understand their personality, so that together we can create a truly one-of-a-kind masterpiece that reflects their unique spirit. I welcome your input and any special requests.

Whether you’re looking for a stunning portrait of your beloved dog, a fun and playful series of action shots, or images capturing your special bond, I’m here to make it happen.

I offer a range of products and services, including prints, canvases, albums, and digital images. I believe that your pet photography experience should be as unique as your pet, which is why I work closely with you to not only create gorgeous, one-of-a-kind artwork, but also to create a package that fits your needs and budget. If you’re going to invest in art for your home, shouldn’t it showcase the love of your life?

Hi, I’m Carol…

Your Philadelphia area Pet Photographer

Why I do dog photography? It’s not because I love photography (I do, but I could photograph lots of other things).

It’s not because I love dogs (I do, but I could do lots of different things with dogs – training, pet sitting, etc.)

I do it because I want to honor who they are.

As a child, I didn’t realize that animals were animals. I knew they generally had more legs and a tail, but I saw them as individuals, as souls. I didn’t know that not everyone had a birthday party for their dog. I didn’t know not everyone shared their deepest secrets with their dog. I didn’t know that to some, dogs were pets and not a member of the family.

As an adult, there were still things I didn’t know. I remember the first time I heard someone refer to themselves as their dog’s parent. Or call them their furbaby. I was very confused. I had never thought of that type of a relationship with an animal. I saw them as an equal partner, a soul that I invited to share my life. Well, not totally equal, they don’t really help with the housework or pay the bills, but I saw them as friends.

I have since realized that parental role a bit more, as I am their primary caregiver and the one that has to keep them from eating all the treats in one sitting, but I still see them as individual beings.

My goal is to create a photographic representation of their essence. To show their personality whether it’s reserved or silly or wild. I also want to illustrate that bond between human and dog. The two spirits intertwined for an all-too-brief time in this life. I am not taking pictures of your dog. I am photographing their soul.

As a volunteer Rescue Photographer for over 8 years, I have worked with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I understand and respect their body language and I offer and experience that you and your dog will love!

I am a featured artist in Tails of the World and will be publishing my first book in 2023. It is a rescue fundraising book and we are on track to raise $10,000!

I was voted Best of Delco 2022, appeared on the cover of Middletown Neighbors magazine and will be featured in the January issue of Mainline Today magazine.

I’ve volunteered with nearly a dozen rescues providing professional photos to bring attention to hard-to-place animals. My work has appeared in the MAC juried art exhibit, in Beyond Words literary magazine, and was auctioned at The Newswomen’s Club of New York Spring Gala.

Carol is an extremely talented pet photographer. She is easy to work with and LOVES dogs! I love that she uses her talents to support local rescues and is an advocate for rescue dogs. For our photoshoot, we wanted to capture pictures of my dog paddle boarding. Carol had no problems coming out to Marsh Creek for the appointment. She also had no problem wading into the water up to her elbows! Anything to get the perfect shot! And they were perfect!  If you’re looking for a dog photographer, reach out to Carol!

I just wanted to express my gratitude to you for coming to my house and photographing me and my cat, Boo-Boo, during her last days. I didn’t think it would be so wonderful to have such photos in the house after she passed away, but they were just what I needed in my time of grief. Mornings are the worst for me, but I can look over at Boo’s photos, see her face, and I just smile. Your photos are amazing and captured me and Boo and how much I loved her. Thank you SO much, Carol. You are the best.

Sincerely, Bryan Toder
